Open Path and Fence Line Monitoring:

Plant perimeter: Open air monitoring over variable paths around the perimeter of a plant or process area. This allows for accidental release detection or fugitive emissions detection.
 
OFFERINGS:
The UV-DOAS Open Path Monitoring System uses a 6” optical telescope to transmit the ultraviolet beam through the air, monitoring the compounds present in the air mass. The bistatic design with a transmitting and receiving telescope at each end allows for high energy throughput, low compound detection limits, and long path capability.

DESCRIPTION AND PRINCIPLE OF OPERATION:
IMACC UV-DOAS Monitoring Systems propagate an ultraviolet beam through the open air, or through a cell in the instrument, and measures the absorption of the ultraviolet light by any molecules present. It can both identify compounds present that are undetectable with standard FTIR monitoring and measure their concentrations down to low ppb-levels. In addition, some compounds commonly monitored with FTIR can have lower detection limits using UV-DOAS technology. The spectral resolution of the instrument is as low as 0.25 nm, allowing for differentiation of compounds with overlapping spectral features, such as Benzene, Toluene, and Xylene.
